still clouds

Thanks to all who sent birthday greetings. I'm absolutely brimming with love. Where to put it all? Into email replies, not a blog it seems.

In Chennai now with Tal.

We spent two full days, and 600 km on a Royal Enfield motorbike from Kodai to Chennai. What absolute joyous freedom. We were stopping whenever for food and chai. Talking utter nonsense to strangers.

It gives you such power riding a bike. It also takes the power away big time. You are both smiling and walking with pride as you step off the bike and simultaneously crumbling into a heap on the road. It's cool though. Yeah.

And there's nothing like feeling incredibly close to death for two solid days to make you feel incredibly alive.

My actual birthday sounds cool but kinda sucked. I was in a tipi in an organic farm with Tal and Chen but it pissed it down with rain all day and we had very few supplies. We were kind of stuck and starved. It's been very nice since though. I keep getting emails from people - those who make me excited to be in India and also those who make me excited to be going back to England. I'm flying...

So on the 13th we begin two more days travelling to Varanasi. The bombed-up cultural capital of India. Don't worry, I'll be careful.

Yes, I've spent all my wit and energy in emails. What to do?
